This camera is located in the learning center of Horace Caldwell Pier. It is positioned to observe the surf in front and along the pier. The camera documents surf conditions to complement imagery from stereo cameras observing and measuring beach runup. The pier houses the PTAT2 NDBC station (wind, temp), a Hohonu water level sensor, and is nearby the tide station of Aransas Pass (within nearby jetties).
